Every July, we host a Serbian Picnic at our picnic grounds on Kings Creek Road in Weirton, WV, less than an hour from downtown Pittsburgh. The grounds span approximately 11 acres in a scenic and peaceful hollow along Kings Creek, providing extensive tree shaded lawns and plenty of parking space. 

The facilities include a covered pavilion (with bar, stage and dance floor), a kitchen and food sales building, a building for barbequing lamb, pig, chickens and other meats (both on spits over open fires and in a wood-fired oven), a playground for the children, a paved basketball court, sports field, walk-in coolers and restrooms. 

The Serbian Picnic Grounds is operated by the Holy Resurrection Church’s Serbian Men’s Club, and is available for rent during the summer. Join us for our big annual Serb Fest Picnic the fourth Sunday in July each year, and enjoy our beautiful grounds with us.
